About Tangem Art

What is Tangem Art?

Tangem Art (tangem.art) is a digital art showcase and art-education studio. We create original digital artworks inspired by traditional art forms and teach art through online courses and workshops.

What does the name Tangem mean?

Tangem (தஞ்சம்) is our family name. Our family has practised and taught traditional art for more than five years, and the website carries the same name people already know us by.

Where are you based?

Our address is Hôtel Tangama, Dalaba, Mamou Region, Republic of Guinea. We work with buyers and students around the world online.

Buying artwork

How do I buy an artwork?

Note the artwork’s reference number, send an enquiry through the contact form on our home page, and we will reply with a written quotation. See How to Buy.

Why are prices not listed?

Price depends on the format (digital file or print), size and licence you need. We confirm the exact price in writing before you pay, so there are no surprises.

Which payment methods do you accept?

We accept cash only: cash payment in person, or cash on delivery (COD) where available. A receipt is given for every payment. We never ask for card or bank details by email or through our contact form.

Do you ship internationally?

Digital files can be delivered worldwide. Prints can be shipped to most countries; availability, cost and timing are confirmed in your quotation. See our Delivery Policy.

Can I get a refund?

Please see our Refund & Cancellation Policy. Damaged or faulty items, and files that are not as described, are always put right.

Licensing & use

Do I own the copyright when I buy an artwork?

No — you receive a licence to use the artwork as described in our Licensing page. Copyright transfer is possible by separate written agreement.

Can I use an artwork for my business?

Yes, with a commercial licence. Tell us how you plan to use it and we will include the right licence in your quotation.

Courses & workshops

Do I need experience to join a course?

No. Our Foundations course is designed for complete beginners. Each course page lists the recommended level.

What equipment do I need?

For most courses, a tablet, phone or computer with a stylus or graphics tablet, plus free drawing software. Pattern courses also use paper and pencil.

Are classes live or recorded?

Both formats are offered depending on the course. Details are listed on the Courses page and confirmed before enrolment.

Can you run a workshop for my school or company?

Yes. See Workshops and send us your group size, dates and preferred format.

Privacy & contact

What happens to the information I send in the contact form?

We use it only to reply to your enquiry and provide the services you ask for. See our Privacy Policy.

We aim to reply within 1–2 business days.
