Licensing & Copyright
How you may use Tangem artwork after purchase, and how we protect the work of our studio.

1. Ownership of artwork
All artwork shown on tangem.art — including images, patterns, designs, illustrations and course materials — is original work created by the Tangem Art studio and is protected by copyright. Copyright belongs to Papelería Art (trading as Tangem Art) unless stated otherwise.
Buying an artwork gives you a licence to use it as described below. It does not transfer copyright unless a written copyright-transfer agreement is signed.
2. Personal licence
Included with every personal purchase. You may:
- display the artwork in your home or private space;
- print it for your own personal, non-commercial use;
- use it as a personal device wallpaper.
You may not sell, share, redistribute or upload the file for others to download, or use it in anything sold or promoted.
3. Commercial licence
Available for an additional fee. A commercial licence lets you use the artwork for a specific business purpose agreed in writing — for example interior décor in a business, marketing material, packaging or a limited product run. The licence states:
- the permitted use(s) and media;
- the territory and duration;
- any limits on quantities or print runs;
- whether exclusivity is included.
4. Exclusive rights and copyright transfer
For commissions and some gallery works, exclusive licences or full copyright transfer can be agreed. These must be set out in a signed written agreement and are priced separately.
5. What is never permitted
- Reselling or redistributing our files, in original or modified form, as your own artwork;
- Using our artwork in logos or trademarks without a written agreement;
- Using our artwork to train or build AI models, datasets or generative tools;
- Removing copyright notices or metadata from delivered files;
- Using our artwork in any unlawful, hateful or misleading content.
6. Course materials
Course videos, worksheets and guides are licensed to the enrolled student for personal learning only. They may not be shared, resold or published. Artwork that students create themselves in our courses belongs to the student.
7. Sharing and credit
You are welcome to share photos of artwork you have bought on social media for personal, non-commercial purposes. Please credit “Tangem Art (tangem.art)”.
8. Reporting misuse
If you believe our artwork is being used without permission, or that something on our site infringes your rights, please write to [email protected] with details and links. We review every report promptly.
